INTRO TO SPLINT BASKET WEAVING
Learn the basics of weaving functional baskets from flat material. Together, we will make a complete basket from rattan reed, and cover everything necessary to start designing and making baskets of your own.
DIY ALTERATIONS
Join us for an open studio style alterations workshop to utilize Sew Valley’s space and equipment to work on your desired alterations.
IDEA TO PRODUCT
Interested in bringing your product idea to life? We are now offering one-on-one Idea to Product sessions online!
Idea To Product is a presentation where new designers and entrepreneurs with big ideas meet with Sew Valley CEO, Shailah Maynard, to ask questions, and learn about sewn product development and production on a big-picture level. Over the course of the 1 hour, you will learn how the production process works within our facility, what is needed to get going, and the expenses that will incur over the course of the project.
