Join us for an open studio style alterations workshop. Students will utilize Sew Valley’s space and equipment to work on their desired alterations.  During this time, our instructor will meet with each student to provide instruction tailored to the individual needs of your garments.  Please bring 2-3 garments to work on.  The instructor will be available for questions and guidance after everyone has received one on one instruction.  Whether you need a lot of help or just the confidence and space to rip that garment open, we’re here to help! 

**Basic sewing experience REQUIRED. For beginners, we recommend taking an introductory class at Sewn In Cincy before taking this course.

For this class we recommend garments that need hemmed, taken in or out in places like the waist, bust or hip. If you have questions about what to bring, please feel free to reach out to us.  Our goal for this workshop is to give you the direction and tools you need to make your alterations, if you run out of physcial time to complete all three garments you will still leave with the knowledge and confidence to do so in the future.
