As a Production Sewist at Sew Valley, you'll help manufacture a wide range of products, from apparel and accessories to prototypes and small-batch production runs for emerging designers, established brands, and nonprofit partners. Every day brings something new, offering the opportunity to work with a variety of fabrics, construction techniques, and production methods.

Responsibilities include:

• Sewing garments and soft goods using industrial sewing equipment

• Following patterns, tech packs, and production specifications

• Maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and craftsmanship

• Collaborating with our production team to meet project deadlines

• Assisting with quality control, pressing, finishing, and packaging as needed

• Contributing ideas to improve production efficiency and workflow

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience operating industrial sewing machines (single needle, serger, coverstitch, etc.)

• Takes pride in producing high-quality work with attention to detail

• Is dependable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team

• Enjoys solving construction challenges and learning new techniques

• Has experience working with knit and woven fabrics (preferred but not required)
